The forum’s dominant ideas were: a community retailer, a community solar farm with a large battery, a bulk purchase initiative that includes solar and batteries, a mini grid; and provision of further information and/or education sessions.

A bulk purchase initiative that includes solar panels and batteries was the most popular option, followed by a community solar farm. There were a large number of questions from the audience about feed-in tariffs and energy suppliers.
